Tsunami Stud

In 2011, Japan was faced with a huge earthquake and the following devastating tsunami. Hideaki Akaiwa (b 1968) found out that his house (including his wife trapped in an air bubble) is below 3 meters (10 ft) of water.

He decided to put on a wetsuit and rescue his wife. After that, he somehow also managed to save his mother and several others for an entire week. This guy is putting Hollywood heroes to shame.
