Garibaldi: The Italian Gaucho

Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807 -1882) was an Italian revolutionary and statesman, famous for his South American adventures, uniting Italy and -for some reason- wearing a poncho. Born in Nice, France he became a merchant marine captain aged 25 and eventually sailed to Brazil.

9/11 hero Rick Rescorla

Rick Rescorla (1939-2001) was the British-American director of security at Morgan Stanley on Sept 11, 2001, when the World Trade Center was attacked. He is credited as being one of the few people who predicted a large scale terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
