Dental technician pranks Japanese WW2 prime minister

When Hideki Tojo, the Prime Minister of Japan during WWII, was in a Tokyo jail recovering from his attempted suicide, it was decided that he needed dentures to speak more clearly during his trial for war crimes.

The man assigned to make the dentures decided to play a prank on Tojo and drilled “Remember Pearl Harbor” into his teeth in Morse code. The story quickly got out and he had to “borrow” Tojo’s teeth in the middle of the night to grind away the evidence.
