The worlds oldest university was arguably in Nalanda, India. It started around the 6th or 5th century BC and had up to 10,000 students and 200 teachers.

3800 year old law texts

The Code of Hammurabi is one of the oldest written texts that has survived until today. It is a collection of Babylonian laws during the reign of Hammurabi (1792–1750 BC) and includes 282 laws ranging from criminal law, to economic, family and civil laws.
