It must have been a very strange morning for people working at BBC on this April 18, 1930.
During those days, the responsible people for the program had the strict rules to only feed its listeners with morally sound and educational content. However, the radio people found nothing newsworthy and therefore when the time for the news came reported: “Good evening. Today is Good Friday. There is no news.” The rest of the news program was filled with piano music.
