Black Ottoman Fighter Pilot

Captain Ahmet Ali Çelikten (1883–1969) was arguably the World’s first black fighter pilot. He was born in Izmir (now Turkey) and flew missions in World War 1 for the Ottoman Empire from 1916 to 1918.
